7 things you may or may not know about me
- I have red (auburn hair), green eyes and freckles. The freckles are very embarrassing when your are 30.
- I’ve never, ever watched an episode of American Idol. EVER. (stolen from Cetta, but same goes for me!)
- I love camping up in the mountains near a gorgeous lake where motorized vehicles aren’t allowed (Mogollon Rim, Tonto Forest areas) but I HATE camping in the desert. I live in the desert… why would I want to go sleep out exposed in it? I hate getting ready for camping because of the hassle and I’m so OCD about forgetting something. But I LOVE it once I’m there. It’s been too long since I’ve done it. Now that my youngest will be in Kindergarten next year I can’t use her age as an excuse.
- Though my husband’s business centers on dune recreational activities, I have never once gone to the dunes with him. (see # 3)
- I love birds. However my cats do too (but not in the same way I do), therefore I don’t own any. My husband feels the same way about birds as the cats do.
- I became a vegetarian last year (only eating dairy and eggs). I was successful for 7 months and recently cheated. I had Halibut while out to a business lunch on Thursday
- If not for my dog and kids, I would love to have a condo somewhere convenient to work. As kids and pets will never be gone it’s the cookie cutter suburbs for me unless we can ever afford to upgrade.

But I already did this (here)! I can do it again, though, just for you. We’re going up to Big Lake on a camping trip in July (right outside of Springerville), we haven’t been in years and I LOVE to go camping. I’ve never been to the dunes, either. My husband used to go all the time when he was a kid (he was heavy into motocross) but we don’t have any rails or quads or anything, so we’ve never gone. I don’t think Halibut is cheating all that much… just get back on the wagon and don’t feel guilty! And finally, wouldn’t you LOVE to have one of those new condos in downtown Tempe or Scottsdale??? WAY expensive but so very, very posh.
